At the I.I. forum Maderis said something about
Genzyme having to sell shares of Gizzmo as a result
of the whole CEGE thing--anybody understand that?
Maybe they are simply paring down to a be a minority
shareholder, might help keep the price depressed
for awhile, while I for one sort out some details,
like why buy a tracking stock if it all belongs to
Genzyme anyway?

Maderis was pretty adamant that what is under the
roof at Gizzmo belongs to the shareholders, which
is confusing to me--what I see in the Genzyme
annual report suggests that everything in all
the tracking divisions really belongs to papa Genzyme.

I'd really like to have this clarified:

Lessee, if I swap Isis, which does not seem to
be working too well for the dead cat bounce today,
take my $700 chump change and churn on over to
Gizzmo at $5 maybe that will get me off my butt
on that: I'll write a letter to Gizzmo and Genzyme
investor relations and see if they can clarifiy,
after all, I am a shareholder <g>.

Etrade loves people like me who pull the trigger
and then ask questions, a very bad habit which I
will have to break.

Looking at biotechs left at the altar. Have been tempted by BCHE. However, my experience with bio-frustration issues like ISIP and LGND, have led me away from issues that are perennial wallflowers. On the other hand, BCHE is profitable and....I continue to hold out great expectation for BTRN, which appears to have a role in the appreciation of MEDI, and truly is a micro-cap. Likewise, VRTX will probably ascend on some take-out rumors. Any other ideas I should be doing some DD over?

P.S. I continue to look over at AXPH. I just have a lack of confidence in management regarding the manner in which they squandered SQNA!
