Sure you did....

I sure did, and for very understandable reasons. One of the most common is that my focus has been high volume transaction oriented systems. This puts a very heavy emphasis on the performance of the disk subsystem and a pretty strong emphasis on the internal buses, but no so much on the processor, while most benchmarks are more processor oriented. One might think the tpm series where similar to my real need, but those are flyweight transactions while mine tend to be things more like order creation, which is often a very heavy, complex transaction or reporting where millions of records are hit per query.
