The following is from a post earlier today from the Yahoo DSS board on the topic of a Bear Stearns research report dated November 17, 1999. Within the text of the report, the analyst states that "in fact Compaq has qualified SDLT". If it is the analyst's load of crap, then take it up with him. At least I am providing a source for my assertion where you say a lot of stuff about either SDLT or Quantum without revealing any source. I am not basing my investment in DSS on this one reference any more than I may be scared away from an investment due to the content of other posts. Best of luck to you.

*** Yesterday (11/16/99), Quantum DSS hosted its annual
analyst meeting at Comdex. Here are our key points -- (1) the upcoming 3Q00 (December) looks on track -- we are forecasting EPS of $0.34 vs. $0.35 and revenues of $362 million, (2) SuperDLT remains on track for volume shipments
beginning next year -- our sense is that it is in qualification at many major OEMs -- in fact Compaq has qualified SuperDLT. ***
