Did you catch Billy Kristol on Hardball tonight? Referring to Bush's comment about Christ being the political philosopher that has had the most influence on him, he said, "Statements like that by a candidate for high office are not appropriate in a democracy." I think Irving better take his boy by the hand and explain to him once again what it means to be conservative. There are a few critical things that could be said about Bush's comment, but sounding like Ira Glasser is not helpful.
