You can always double up now while everyone else is selling and then sell the original position early next year. It doesn't help this year's tax bite, but helps next year's tax planning knowing you already have booked some losses. I have had modest success doing this. A few times the stock returned to the profitable level before I had the chance to take the loss. Of course I won't mention the times that the strategy backfired. <g>

Z and all,

During the last Hutch conf. call, management said the would start shipping TSA suspensions "in volume" into a segate program during the March quarter. Naturally they didn't give any idea what "in volume" means unit-wise. Do you have any idea what kind of drive they are going into, and if so, will the segate suspensions be material to total shipments? I thought this was a significant disclosure because after talking about "working" with segate for so long they finally have them signed up to take some (significant?) product. The market apparently doesn't agree with me. Do you?
