I understand not getting some of the things that Andy did, I do not understand not getting Andy at all. Things like his Mighty Mouse bit were brilliant, and Latke Gravas was an inspired character, based on a character from his stand-up act, and with input over the years from Andy to the writers, as when Latke developed multiple personalities. Anyway, as you say, go figure.......

I will probably rent the Jim Carey movie when it comes out on tape, just because I like Jim Carey, so maybe I will finally "get" Andy Kaufman. I like the REM song, too. Did you ever see the video for it on MTV? They used to play it on "120 Minutes", or you can rent a tape of REM videos.
