Jack Frost, Nipping @ Your Nose. Very insightful. Great Move. Yes. Visionary of Visionaries... Such the Subtle view ....of the important things. First it's Hapka. Blame it all on Hapka. The stock is moving in sync with the other DSL's but still,,, blame it on Hapka. Then Blame it on Bell Atlantic. Then Blame it on Morgan STanley. Blame it on the Market Makers for the Wide Spreads. Blame it on the shorties, which incidently,,,, I think we will see a HUGE RISE in the short interest this month. Blame it on the Bitter Telephone Companies that are feeling the pressure of the Nimble Upstarts. Blame it on the Lawsuits. Blame it on the Cable Downgrades. Blame it on the Open Access. Blame it on the Last Mile. Blame it on the Blue Sky. Blame it on the Weather. Blame it on the Frost. Who can we blame it on tomorrow. I would like to blame it on the Options but the options are simply bullish. There are Many deep in the money PUT dollars (>2put$:1call$) which have to be closed out by buying stock or selling the puts which will cause a reaction utlimately leading to buying stock. I think the Brokers have been calling up people looking for sellers of stock because, for whatever reason, they are trying to hold this sector down right now. It is not about valuation. When you look at the valuation of other sectors whith much slower 'predictable' growth rates. This is a Wild Card Growth Rate. If things go right. This could be a huge winner. If things go bust. This could go bust. If the high end is developed. If the industry ultimatly consolidates after 50 million subscribers there will be just a few winners. It is a gut feel to pick the winners coming out of the gait. It's a gut feel looking at the visionaries, and the management - risk takers.... It's a gut feel looking at the Corporate cultures and the projection of a companies self in their press releases and their marketing. It's a projection of themselves in the names they call themselves, and the odd drumbeatings that make up a corporate culture. Hey, To be quite honest... This stock is killing me. I don't want to have any more pain.
