Boo hiss. ;) High volume it may continue to be for years to come, but I'd say far lower margin. I'd much rather Go2Net concentrate on pushing the envelope with their farthinking cable partners than cling to the vestiges of yesterday's market. People pony up the money for the latest thing, and Go2Net will be it.

There -is- money to be made in free dialup ISPs, but in the long term it's a diminishing market. Cable and broadband services is the best way to increase their brand name because its presence is going to explode.
