the split momentum in the stock is already finished.

In the absence of any news bearing strongly on future earnings. This stock will loose pricing traction. If you have had such profits why not lock them up and move on to another stock that does have traction.

Moreover, the stock is very vulnerable to any execution errors or slips in revenue and earnings. Simply, put the upward momentum is spent and there is more left to lose than there is to gain from this stock.

But the sell pressure on SUNW may be short-term. Still, if you're a short-term trader, there may be better near-term opportunities.

Of course, if splits actually produce a short-term gain, you know for sure that some professionals buy before the split, stay in for the gain, then sell to take their profits. So, here we are with selling pressure a week after a split...
