CNBC Guest list for 12/17/99 Please note our pal Steve Harmon will be on Street Signs. Also tomorrow on CNBC we will all learn a lesson in double standards. Bill G. caught flak today for showing furs on Power Lunch. Tomorrow he will have on Farrari.
These same bunny huggers that gave Bill a hard time today won't send e-mail or call about Farrari. Why? Because even though more animals lose there lives each year to autos than in any other way, it is PC to bust chops about furs. Double standard yuppy logic 101. You see it is OK to kill, sometimes, like when THEY have to get somewhere in THEIR car. The ME generation. The switchboard at CNBC can take a break tomorrow. cnbc.com

MAJOR TOM on GE
God bless my broker. As soon as the news hit, one call, boom shares bought before the halt. GE announced a 3 for 1, 17% div. increase, etc. Hold on to the bar when the halt comes off. go2net.newsalert.com
