It has been fun learning to invest globally - I think we all will have to learn about global markets "going forward" (To borrow a CNBC phrase) - it is amaxing to me that the markets are not always "quickly efficient" although eventually they get there....COMS was a no brainer with the PALMS spinoff - but we could get in months before street money was there..same with the GEC ADR - we all could get in before street money got there, same with the MCONY ADR - we CAN STILL ALL GET THERE before the street eventually gets there with a listing....I appreciate the concept of a thread and in particular this one - I have gleaned much from you and others, and it feels good to also add a teeny bit here and there..

If MCONY buys CS, wouldn't it be better to wait and buy MCONY ADRs after the transaction settles down?

Or, would both stocks go up together?

It was amazing to watch the arbitrage that alternated between CIEN and TLAB last year while walking both stocks up to 90.
