Here's a small item from The WebReport: ETRADE TAX CENTER ETrade entered a partnership with Intuit to provide tax-planning information and tools to simplify planning, preparation and filing. The center's content, calculators and other features will be powered by Quicken TurboTax. Several marketing agreements between the two companies will be implemented through the site. We see this as a positive move for both parties and represents yet another step ETrade is taking to expand its product line and services. The timing is ideal, with tax season soon approaching, and ETrade's customers will benefit from the alliance with a leader in the tax field--Intuit. Such a partnership strengthens E*Trade's positioning in the eFinance space."
