Poet: Yes I have owned G* and Loral (which owns 45% of G*) for many moons (years). Gone nowhere except sideways and down. This is the classic "too early" participation - but I was "too early" on others too (such as the Q) with outstanding results. Lose a few, win a few.

G* is about to get underway in the real world. May do well, may not.

The next six months or so will tell the story.

Loral (which owns 45% of G*) is also worth some DD. It is a much broader company and will be in a position to be a powerhouse re data - broadly defined to include video, news services, internet, etc - while G* is limited to voice as of now.

Both are what Uncle Frank now (in a concession to me) calls "Snowballs" . Chuckle. tekboy thought up that name to replace shiny pebbles.

Best.
