Important observations on bear markets from another site: Everybody is predicting that the bear market will start right here..right now as Nasdaq hit new highs and the Dow isn't too far behind. History shows us that a top must first be formed. All bear markets have been preceeded by a hard break in the McClellan Oscillator ( below -125 on my issue ajusted version ) with a rebound from a mininum of two weeks to a maximum of a few months. Non confirmation takes place here. We also have had record volume on NY and Nasdaq. This will preceed price tops by a few months. Expect choppy markets, but it is too soon for the bear to be
