We didn't go over the charts on DWA yet. This is where you enter a
ticker symbol to pull up a chart. I'll take this opportunity to go
through all the features within the charts.

I'm going to click in the symbol CSCO.

At the top of the chart I see the following:

Cisco Systems Inc
CSCO (12/16/1999) 97.88 Up 2.005
Sector: Computers (Risk: Bull Confirmed 62+) Stock Mom: Pos
RS = Buy, 10/20/1992; column = Xs - Trend Chart Broke a Double Bottom on 12/15/1999

The top is obviously the name.

The second line
CSCO (12/16/1999) 97.88 Up 2.005
has the symbol and the date the chart was updated the price and the
amount up or down the stock was from the previous
close price.

The third line
Sector: Computers (Risk: Bull Confirmed 62+) Stock Mom: Pos
has the sector, in this case computers, what risk level that sector
is at (risk levels are the same as the BP charts) and the percentage
the chart is currently. The + means the sector chart is in X's. Next
is the momentum of the stock which is positive.

The fourth line
RS = Buy, 10/20/1992; column = Xs - Trend Chart Broke a Double Bottom on 12/15/1999
This information directly relates to the stock. The RS (relative strength)
for CSCO is on a buy signal and the date is when that buy signal
occurred. The RS is in a column of X's. Next mentioned is the trend
chart which is the chart you would be looking at with this information.
It gives the last signal and the date that signal occurred.

On the top right hand side of the chart you will see blue links for:

Help - which takes you to the search engine for the database.

Graphic Help - This pulls up a picture of a chart and you can roll
your cursor over areas and click into help fields. The chart shown
is what is available in the box seats so there will be buttons there
that are not available to you.

Add to Temp Portfolio - This is one of the portfolio's that I mentioned
a few days ago. While the chart is up you can click on this link and
the stock will be added to your temp portfolio. Good thing to use if
you are browsing stocks and want to save a chart you like.

On the top right hand side of the chart (not currently showing with
CSCO) an Alert! will appear announcing a change in either RS, sector
risk, trend, momentum etc.

Next post is the chart buttons.
