Not true. I already made the point to you that there were charts in the NY Times that demonstrated that there was heavy put buying by the public just prior to the bust. Pensions, mutual funds, and sophisticated others invest public money.

There were also public statements by leading bankers that had exposure to Wall St. that verified that the losses were significant and in some cases threatening. This came later on.

I can't see why you won't accept the reality of those two facts when trying to form a judgment about AG.com's actions. There are no biases related to these facts. We are spinning wheels here. You just don't want to admit the obvious to yourself for reasons unknown to me. Considering that as a taxpayer and potential fund holder you would pay for this sort of nonsense when it happens I don't quite get your attitude.
