this is one of the most interesting sites that I have seen... bmes.ece.utexas.edu I have seen mention of maglev now that can go to 500 mph... seems that limits are being broken and 300 mph is not the ceiling... I have also seen that current limits are magnet related.. (imagine that) having to do with super cooling etc. all the things that IMG does every day... the physics of maglev are really an amazing display of efficency both in cost of power to run it and the 3 phase induction motors etc... ZOOM.
