What do the British know about genes and genetic engineering? The only work they ever did in this area resulted in developing people without arms and legs.

It is most frustrating that people who know nothing about the subject can come out so strongly against it. Very few foods have been developed and the track record so far on the tomato doing any harm is zero. Perhaps the British are thinking that a genetically engineered tomato might result in people with vines for arms and legs.

I would think that in the enlightened age we are now in that all of the superstition of the middle ages would have long since died.

I'll bet if we stopped in import of European goods and food to the US we might get their attention.

As for the blood sucking attorneys there isn't any hope for us.
