Bob:

Reasonable logic, considering NN has a number of options
such as:

-- spin off the affiliates in a series of IPO's
-- keep the affiliates but describe (in outline) their
activities and the products they are going to bring
onstream and when
-- merge with a SUPERHOT optical company on a friendly
share exchange basis taking advantage of the present
insane valuations such companies have
-- create the cutting edge Wireless to ATM to Optical
solution that actually works (and soon)
-- makes TM insanely rich, the staff happy, and shareholders radiantly joyous ongoing

Short summary:

If played intelligently by NN, much more upside than downside!

Best wishes,
Jim

Bob Howarth, I agree with 1 and 2 but not with 3: ie I don't agree that NN will fail.
Again folks that are surfing the web looking for investments
need to sit down clear their minds of any distracting
thoughts and think:

We have the largest three Economies in Europe, Germany,
France and England who have placed
all their Telecommunications Networks, telephone, TV,
and Internet on NNs switching platform
.

These are not dumb people folks. .
They know what they are doing.

NN is a leader in wireless/ lmds as well as adsl has never failed in
R& D on a switch and they will not fail on the 50/450.

By the time all 350 Carrier clients of NN get back into the 50/450, NN will be $45+.
They will buy the 50/450, they have no choice.

I think I note a nice development this AM on NN activity:
The old price/ volume curve: It is moving up even when price
is drifting down. That means that demand is slowly
outstripping supply which means that sooner or later price
will move up,

TA: NN revisited as follows. If takeover, make money. If try it on their own and succeed, make money. If try it on own and fail, then takeover gets you back to at least
break even. What do you think about this logic?
