Eva: I'm not a day trader (at least not often) but I'm sure familiar with your frustration.

I use the Royal Banks PCAction Direct.

The wait to have orders placed and then confirmation of buys and sells has become longer by the day.

To put a positive spin on it,
I tell myself that it's been great practice for forecasting price action.
Most times I have to place my buy or sell limits based on where I think the market will be in 20 minutes.

They're teaching me a skill. <ggg>

, how do you guys daytrade in canada? I am so frustrated, Quite honestly we don't!! What we do is throw darts at the stock market hoping that it hits the right price. We have incompetent Internet facilities at best (possibly one exception). We have illiterate traders answering phones, I am not a racist but when a trader repeats an order, I really would appreciate it if he/she had fluent and understandable english skills, and we have unrelaiable realtime feeds.

I guess we are masochists who enjoy the idea of having so many cards stacked against us that even the tinyest of successes is celebrated with the opening of champagne!!

Playing US at the moment....I wonder why?
