TM, Happy for you Dude!

Didn't know you still had the order in. However, if you learned to draw trend lines <g> on the daily, you could have got it cheaper. Nonetheless, put that profit in the bank!

This will probably go down as one of the most difficult trading Markets in recent memory. Bill on the BK thread indicated that it has been the most difficult trading environment in his 30 years of experience. We are seeing some of the Big Boyz at 3 and 4 year lows. In this environment, our system of assuming that supports will act as supports runs into difficulty.

We clearly see two of the four legs of this stool at critical support - Drugs and Financials. I moved from 90% cash to about 90% equities on the real weakness on the close Friday, and, being an idealistic, romantic, moved into Drugs and Financials. I cannot believe that a CSCO, selling at 5x its projected growth rate, will continue to move this Market. That said, I can move back to cash in a relative heartbeat!

Nonetheless, our system favors the down and out, and, as stated so eloquently by MG, we probably should consider a change. Not! It has been a tough 8 months, but the method definitely contributed to your 350% or so return for the year.

It's tough when most of it came in the first couple of months, but, not bad, for a Dude that didn't know a whole bunch a couple of years ago.

Yup, JT's leap concept would have probably done better by a factor of x, but let's see where the bulk of the mutual funds come in. Isn't that what this is all about!
