nice guy, well perhaps there was some perceptual difference in what he meant and I understood, since I am not familiar with the use and jargon of puts and calls, even though I understand the basic concepts.
I looked at some of the quote sites and I can see that people are already adapting to the idea that AMD might make money, thus making it harder. A typical market discount mechanism. the recent problems at Intel no doubt have done this.

PollyAnna, always looking on the bright side aren't you! By selling Jan $25 puts I am expecting no more than a ~22% correction in the stock price in one months time, picking up a nice premium, and still earning interest on my risk capitol. Only you could see that a bullish. Bullish does work in my favor, but so does neutral and moderately down. Those rose colored glasses of your's must be getting steamed up!
