(I don't have the original IPO price handy, and, at this number, we would adjust for the distribution.)

I have a file on QCOM including the Tombstone for the IPO in 1991. I saved a large number of articles from the WSJ and reread them as I was looking for the IPO Tombstone. They were ALL VERY negative on QCOM. Most were dated around 1994 to 1996. I am sure there were many more articles that I did not save. I believe there have been two stock splits of 2 for 1 since the IPO.

----------
TOMBSTONE slang term for financial advertising listing acquisitions, new securities offered for sale, listing the underwriting parties in order of their participation--with managing partners listed at the top and participating members below. The name derives from the minimal artwork in financial ads. It lists only the relevant data of the parties to the transaction. Such ads are not an offer to sell, as securities regulations prohibit explicit advertising, other than through a PROSPECTUS.
