A point that has not been discussed.

Four areas of optical networking are long haul transport, metro, optical cross connects, and optical access.

Cisco has presence in optical cross connect through
Monterey and optical access through Cerent. Nortel has
no current presence in either space. Nortel has presence in long haul transport and metro optical. Cisco has no presence in either space.

from $90 to $20. If you count from 97, you probably gain less than double over three years. Am I right?
