Tax loss no-brainer I was just thinking, GE is a a total no-brainer if you need to take a hit for tax reasons. Let's say there is (God forbid) a dog or two in your portfolio who hasn't been hunting. Why wait and hope it will come back when you can dump the dogs and jump on the closest thing to a sure thing there is? Dump the dog, write off the taxes and by April, the GE will have you in the green. Hi KLP, good you bought some GE, hold and watch it grow! Another way 2B for Dotcom's Favorites 2B Spoiled Brats aside from those Quick 909 Thrills we get so hooked on! It's nice to hold onto Classic Stocks that fer sure will still be around ten years from now, twenty, thirty... like "GE, It Ain't Grandpa's Westinghouse Electric Anymore even though they still sell Lightbulbs!!" (speaking of lightbulbs, GE kinda hides their Light under a bushel at first click on the plain-looking ge.com til one digs deeper, aren't they?!) 909s TRINED R-US!! Yeah i've been missing Techride too but been shopping, working, scrambling to put 2 & 2 together, all datdere; no time for much cooking this year tho, so haven't been able 2B around online much. It might be snowing soon here too, so the weather says... can't say as i like shoveling it, but it sure is pretty to look at and sniff!
