Does this sound like a Ringing Endorsement from Micron or maybe Intel Pulling Teeth?

From the Micron.com site FAQ about Rambus

micron.com

Is Micron supporting Rambus production?

Customers are driving DRAM suppliers to provide a product that better meets the requirements of their systems, and the days of "one DRAM fits all" are gone forever. There is no "perfect" DRAM that is the best fit for all applications, and there is no reason that a PDA should use the same DRAM as a supercomputer. The various DRAM architectures all provide different tradeoffs on cost, bandwidth, latency, power, features, packaging and product life cycle. Micron's goal is to provide a full menu of DRAM products, and then work with our customers to determine what best suits their requirements. Our current plans include multiple densities, speeds and organizations on SDRAM, DDR SDRAM and RDRAM.

hmmm?
