What makes you think everyone is even aware of the news? Just because a (small) company puts out news particularly on a Friday (during Holiday season) that people are of aware of it. I do not believe in the "efficient market theory" I think that stock are either under valued or over valued and often for long periods of time. Very rarely is a stock "fairly valued. Neither the masses nor the brokerage community have heard of this stock and are not aware of the news. It will take a bit of time for the news to be disseminated/distributed. This be as long as 2-4 weeks given the time of year. This stock traded as high as $2.50 earlier in the year. Now is the time for tax loss selling.
