When I was in my middle 20's I was #2 man in one of the country's largest insurance companies, Pittsburgh office.

I hired a CPA to get the place right from an accounting standpoint. The boss was a bit tipsy most of the time....so I figured we needed somebody to take care of the cash.....

About a month after he started, he came to me one day and said.."you know, I really like your office and I want you to know that my interest is in replacing you and taking your job."

I loved that guy...He couldn't cheat you if his life depended upon it. But he always wanted you to know what you were up against. I opened my own shop..he took over where I left off about a year later and then he moved into the real estate biz....I miss the man...He's probably 70 by now....and I hope he's done well.

One of the best experiences of my life.
