TIVO comments - it doesn't appear to be selling well in the stores - and who wants to have to subscribe to TIVO, WEB TV, CABLE/DISH, the Internet - at this point in time, in my opinion, the masses do not want all those separate bills and services - so until someone combines them all TIVO will not take off on its own - again, just my opinion!

Scott: I hope you're right and do well. Me, I'm just looking to take a few points from a short trade. Unlike you, I have no notion of what "tapeless video" is. I have trouble turning on my radio. And I am firmly convinced that there are only two people in these 48-contiguous states capable of programming a VCR...and they travel incognito. (Lee)

In a few years, it will be unimaginable not to have a device that lets you pause a TV show in the middle, and resume watching it later.

I'm very curious about this, why can't I do the same thing on my old fashion VCR or DVD player? I program it, and play it when I want to. Yes, it has a stop and pause button on it.
