Since you are as ignorant as Mr. NiceGuy on the subject I'll try and make it clear. I never said it was not bullish. That claim was the act of Mr. NiceGuy's overactive imagination. My point was that it need not be ONLY bullish.

AMD is trading near $29. I sold $25 puts for 1 3/8s.

If the stock goes up then I make money. If the stock goes nowhere, I make money. If the stock goes down less than 5 3/8s I make money. If the stock goes down 5 3/8s I break even but I have the use of the premium cash for 1 month. So if I expect AMD to go down a limited amount and my expectations are met, I end up making my maximum potential profit in this type of trade. That is not a bullish forecast and only the ignorant would fail to see this. I shall put you in the same category as Mr. NiceGuy.
