Unfortunately...

You are right.

The TJ influence has hit this thread full force now.

shoot1st: there appears to be an orchestrated effort to beat down the picks of this thread, especially those that have any weak fundamentals....

Ok, I'll bite. Who do you think is beating down these "great" picks and why?

Regards,
LG

shoot, I agree. I am going to cut down the pure momo plays myself and concentrate instead on more solid position trades: DMRC picked at 44 yesterday has rewarded us 16 pts, KOREA added at 63 yesterday right after the Lehman hype has done very well when we sold into the gap this morning. Also, ACOM today.

Our thread has nursed many a solid picks in the past two months alone. think about that basket of Linux and alternative OS stocks I picked back in November 3, CORL, ADSP, BEOS, SFWT, IMPR, SBAS then VONE....not one of these picks have failed to advanced at least 200% over the course of 1 month.

We also did some very wonderful IPO plays: Immersion from 16 to 40s (I sold some at 30), VIAD from 9 1/2 to 47, JCDA, JNIC from 40 to the triple digits; MSLV, Interwoven, ATON, KEYN (which I still hold quite a few shares) Cysive...there is long, long list of that

and there were many breakout calls I made minutes before the breakouts occurred: RETK around 32, mid 40s and final target of 78 is just one example.

then there was ISLD's merger with Sandpiper. At that time, few people seem to understand the powerful synergy of the two entities. Well, SUNW and Inktomi do, and ISLD is now sitting well in the triple digits as a result of alliances with these two discerning business enterprises.

Over the weekend, I will try to write up a summary of this year's trades. It will clearly demonstrate that you don't have to play trash momos to make lot's of money in our thread although it's something of which I am guilty of late.

<<just a friendly reminder. there appears to be an orchestrated effort to beat down the picks of this thread, especially those that have any weak fundamentals.....>>

I very much doubt there is such a conspiracy.

What happened is that a lot of people on this thread have gotten carried away with hyping cheapie momentum plays with crap fundamentals.
