I don't think it does, if you're talking about gains only with no other income. But don't quote me, I'm not a CPA.

Though MSFT is starting to flatten off a bit here, I
think that there is good chance that we will see 120
to 130 by Jan end. (Unless it gets confirmed that there
is no settlement and news gets out, in that case, the
stock may go up and then drop 10% ro so)
