ALERT: Pre-market trading volume is nearly non-existant. The Wall Street Fat Cats are DEFINITELY away!! Unless my quote service is wrong. . .I am seeing very very few issues with pre-market trades. . . this tells me that the INDIVIDUAL INVESTOR is the driving force in the market this week. We have entered a period of Holidility. The only ones trading pre-market are momentums based on recent earnings, splits, merger or news. . . .CMGI [with ADFC in tow], JDSU, ETEK seem to have some pre-market activity without news I can see. SCOC is moving after Steve Harmon made a live call on CNBC. . .I liked the way he baited everyone. . .told about the company and then finally said the letters. . . the stock went wild. . . .we just may have a Tokyo Joe in the making. . .it was quite exciting like like a great football game. I expect to see the same stocks bidding up every day this week. . .we can use this as a scalping play the more the patterns become clear. There is also a "running away" of sorts by the VERY BEST issues, again like JDSU, ETEK, CMGI, VERT, etc. This has the mark of mutual fund buying without significant opposition. This phenomenon was just as blatent last year around Christmas. The only way to play these is to identify, then hop on for the ride. . . these issues will gain even more momentum as momentum investors recognize what is going on. .. . we need to be there first. . . . I need to know any GREAT issues that moved up dramatically this morning on no news. No sleepers or relatively unknowns. . .just the ones getting large volume with large upside. . .a nd the ones that everyone wants. Rande Is
