A sleeping Cigar still smokes, and wishes all sluppies the Merriest Christmas possible, along with the hope that slup is y2k compliant.

And better luck to us all in cleaning up the world (or at least the toxic waste part) next year.

Veteran sluppies will note the wish is similar to that posted by Cigar at this time last year.

So while it is possible to live in hope, it is equally possible to die in despair.

I have copies of the patents. I am not an expert.

My technical director is a Phd inorganic chemist. He went over the patents, concluded
they were strong and defensible, and bought a major position in the company.

If the patents were weak, the Cement Cartel would have just pushed SLUP aside and
developed the business for themselves.

The worlds largest producer of calcium sulfide is in China, and I believe (I could be
wrong) contracted to Solucorp to supply it to them exclusively for this purpose.

Not to disparadge chemical engineers, for the most part their education is in engineering,
not chemistry. They can size a pipe, calculate a heat balance, and know the steam tables
- but chemical reactions? - uh uh.

The chemistry involved in the SLUP patents is new and it is novel and, if I must say so,
damn clever. But I trust my Tech. Dir. PhD opinion much more than mine - and he put his
money where his mouth is.

All you guys come in out of the woods and try to slam everything about the company, now you are trying to tell us the patents won't hold up, give me a break.

If the patents wouldn't hold up Solucorp would have been toast a long time ago. I am no expert, but to have another shining WHITE KNIGHT (Bo-jest)come in at this part of the
game and tell us something that is NOT FACT to try and scare shareholders of solucorp in taking a tax loss,

YOUR WORDS Hope you can use the tax loss. I suggest you take it.

If it's so bad who would buy, especially since we now have your WISE words.
