Mr. Big...well said...also think we need to assign someone to serve as a Sergeant at Arms and to exercise some control over the board, replete with doing global ignores for people not contributing, folks hyping, etc....the board having run amuck coupled a few doggie picks is a recipe for disaster and the board and ergo the board's picks will lose credibility...used to feel like we traded amongst a few close friends, now looking like we've sold our souls to a band of thieves, hooligans and thugs.

The buying power of the thread is all spread out. There is no disciple and no teamwork. The same thing happened to the Tokyo Joe Board, and it is happening here. 2 weeks ago, MDER would have gone straight to 10. I was probably one of the first ones to whine about the scalping, but in reality, that is just the way it is. You either learn to adapt, or you don't. When you have everyone thinking every call is a scalp, there is no strength. The only way to fix the problem is to take a select group of people, with buying power, and knowledge, and make the calls private between the group. The code works. It might need revising now, since as dugout relayed to me yesterday, it seems to have fallen into the wrong hands, but it works. So now, what has to be done, is it needs to be organized. There can only be one or 2 gurus and they need to be nominated and elected. I can think of many people that it could be...as long as the system were to remain disciplined. I have ideas.

Big, I agree, we should all be trading the charts, that is why I haven't gotten in on some of the latest picks.

The MM's & shorts seem to be hovering over this thread. As soon as Kim releases a pick, they immediately start raising the Ask on every 100 shares almost, then when the volume thins down the shorts jump on and the MM's walk it right back down. I think the key is to stick to the larger issues that have support from other areas so this thread is not the only buyer. I'm staying away from the momo's unless I'm one of the first ones in. Like today, I saw MDER start to go, the only problem was that I was trying to buy when Kim was and I could not get a fill. I chased for a bit and said not for me. Instead I'm staying with some safer issues and only post some observations. Have you been watching how NTPL is being held down? I think the next volume push will take it to $9. I think DEMP has a good chance of running from here with earnings and conference call on the 23rd. Check it out, I think you might like it. Read the previous news and filings, you will see that they have a good chance of seeing improved sales. I guess the conference call on the 23rd will let us know.

Now if after I mention it to you and I see a bunch of shorts jumping on it I will just have to keep these things quiet! LOL

however my posting will be limited to thoughtful and timely stock ideas.

If everyone could only return to that concept we'd have a real useful thread again. I post very infrequently because I don't often have anything meaningful to contribute. If you look at the signal/noise ratio here in the past month or more it's getting out of control...

Thanks, Big, for showing the way.
