Judging from Tim's comments I don't think he was referring to the people that have responded to his comments, as most of you seem very respected on this thread. I think he is referring to all the newbies (myself included) that are hyping stocks left and right.JMO.

It's a simple process... and I think Tim touched on it... these threads are in the middle stages of turning into momentum threads.

It was just a matter of time... you get someone that is hot... and then the daytraders swoop in (like me) and instead of longterm plays, you get stocks that turn into swing trades, then 1/2 day trades, and then officially momo plays for a couple minutes at best.

All this while, the thread regulars don't change, and are stuck holding the bag, taking losses, because they're used to holding her picks for days at a time. Accusations start to fly, and the person with the juice isn't at fault (Kim in this instance). It wouldn't surprise me if she was selling into the buying of late... as she would only be changing with the times. Doesn't mean she's pumping and dumping.

Eventually, (if it isn't already there), the thread will pan into a hype and momo thread for a while... Kim's picks will continue to run up briefly before dropping.

And the last phase will be when Kim's plays stop working alltogether, and the hype dies, and people like myself move on. Then, she will regain their confidence in her, and things will return to "normal."

People are only here bcz Kim is hot... when she isn't anymore... they will leave.

I went through the same thing as Kim is going through now in August and September... it's not pleasant... but at least she's doing the right thing and not responding.

I haven't followed Tim's thread... but my guess is a similar thing is going on there.

Regards,
Jason
