Nathan, Gary is probably right. 15 is probably on the high side with a deal being done for as little as 12. I don't see anything being done for less than 12. I think $13-14 would probably be the price if it were done on monday. I have not been in this sector long enough to know what PXD should get in an "ideal" world.

I'd look for 25-35% above prevailing prices. But again I don't expect any merger. Today's buying was probably just another fund establishing a position. With PXD's typical daily volume it doesn't take much to move it. The same also applies to NBL but to a lesser extent.
