Sir Thor, STOP this infliction of severe pain to us less fortuitous ones who
have not the ability to walk or take a short drive for the basic breads of life.

Let it be knowned that I have a package of Instant French Bread,
ready for the making, just add water, stir, put into microwave for 2 minutes,
let cool, and then wonder why it does not look like the picture on the package,
which does look like those magnificent ones you just posted.

Will it taste like the taste your picture promises ?
Will the outside crunch into a zillion+ fragments upon a teeth bite ?
Will my tongue send my brain a message of Thanks ?
Will the mayor of N.Y. City buy the Brooklyn Bridge ?

Yes we all know the answer, and it comes forth Loud & Clear,
as I read the Safe Harbor declairation on bottom of package.

Thor,

You have no conscience!

The crisp crust that crackles in your mouth, the soft inside that you spread the butter on!

You are hurting me seriously, man, have you no mercy?

I go to buy bread here and they bake it and stick it in a plastic bag before it cools. That gives the mushy no-crust bread that Americanishers have been lead to think of as bread. You know, the "Wonder Bread" effect.

Gives you all the vitamins you need and leaves you wondering why you were inclined to eat half baked dough in the first place.

If I eat half-baked dough, I do it with steamed buns ala the Chinese. Now that, I do appreciate.

America has no taste, it is just a big market for the promoters!!

Cannot say that I ever had a really bad meal in Europe, but I have had some Zingers here at inflated prices, and my worst meal there was, well, "Less than memorable".

My thought is that the average eater there does much better than I, unless I cook it myself!

Yes, you rogue, you hit a nerve!

P.S-- Enjoy your geographical-gastronomic advantage!

Depraved, Jack!
