Tenchusatsu: Wouldn't Micron have an active interest to relegate Rambus into the niche? I just checked Tech data online catalog. The earliest that VC820 motherboards will arrive are 1/3/2000 and quantities are less than 1000 on order for month of January. We are now at 3 month additional delay since the original delayed introduction in OCT and reduction in units ordered by Tech data is about 70% of original quantity ordered in OCT. OR840 motherboards are re-scheduled for 12/30/99 and total quantity ordered is 90 or about 80% reduction in quantity originally ordered. If RDRAM wasn't niche before it definitely is now. john
