Hi Dan,

"Are there any other lasers out there that support old epson emulation?"

Although it's not the same as your situation, a co-worker and I ran into a situation a couple of months back where we had a small network of maybe 20 machines using a Novell 3.12 file server. There were 2 networked HP4L or 4P that the clients would print to, as well as a few sporadic local printers.

The interesting part, was that the the client OS was Windows 3.11 (running on PIII's!) due to some old DOS software...to make a long story short, we had to be creative in creating old epson port emulation for the 2 networked HP's. I can't remember exactly how we did it, but the documentation is lying around somewhere. If you think it's relative, I'll dig it up for you.

I would think that NT would be easier to setup port emulation, because dinking around with the Print Manager in 3.1 on a strict deadline was not fun.
