Although some will argue this point, QCharts is the slickest, best designed charting and real time quote program on the market today at any price. Is it perfect? No. Is it a far cry better than nearly anything out there? Absolutely. Limitations seem to be particularly in the area where you might keep several watch lists and hot lists with active real time quoting (intraday) on 100 symbols and then need instantaneous switching between these symbols to look at chart after chart. If this is your style of trading, data flow issues (depending on a combination of ISP connections, geographical location, and QC server) may or may not be a problem. Most dataflow issues can be resolved by limiting your demands on the system to a more reasonable active list and multiple or various ISP connections and the selection of a less congested QC server. I have had nearly trouble free service for the last 2 months (as long as I've been a subscriber). A couple of times I have had to log onto different servers, but nothing like what I do routinely with my RT3 and my Interquote quote and charting programs. Let's face it, the internet is still in its infancy and bandwidth and data flow will continue as the central problems for the next few years. If you trade for a living, you really should have a secondary quote and chart provider in this stage of the internet development. I would make QC my second if I were you. Give it a try. You will probably find yourself beginning to compare everything else to it and it will probably become your number one provider and RT3 your backup.

Matt

BTW, I have no financial interest in Q-Charts(LCOS) and actually work as an unpaid developer for one of their competitors (Interquote).
