To all: Here's an interesting "article" recently put up on an EV website I monitor. This article is about a test drive of Nissan's new EV, the Altra. The thing I find most interesting about this vehicle is Nissan's choice of battery. Wherein everybody else in the industry is using either advanced lead-acid, and/or rapidly migrating to nickel-metal hydride storage, Nissan has decided to use lithium-ion "for its high power density and belief that battery costs will decline..." Anyone have any thoughts about this?

Oh...and here's the article:

With regards to GM....Well....me thinks they don't have the stranglehold on the automotive sector they think they have. In other words..if they don't do it, someone else, probably in Asia, will.

Regards!
