value chain to up, rather than down
I think value chains are like bushes, the farther up the more branches there are. GBLX has to compete with QWST and LVLT and GSTRF and others. That doesn't mean it's not a good company, it's just that if you look down the chain you can find companies that are smaller, cheaper, and often irreplacable to company of known value that they feed.

CRay, right on, with the EXDS/EMC comment. But don't forget NTAP. They are also in the storage biz at EXDS and a Gilder pick.
