I don't think you understood my post, which could mean I didn't state it clearly. When something I said wine is a "cottage industry" I meant just what you said... Your comments surprise me. There are hundreds (at least) of wine labels in California. You gotta shop beyond AM/PM Mini Markets to find some of them, though. A cottage industry = a lot of upstarts. When I said "there are a few really big labels" what I was talking about are the FEW really big labels - such as, Gallo. Do you have a relative named boo boo?
