OK so calculate order flow with the volume rate, and the last time & sales and where the rest of the bids & ask volumes are on level II, and you have a probability factor that the MM's can use to determine optimum fills for their benefit. I would like to know more about who and how the programming for these online brokers is handled. Rande Is has discussed some of these things from time to time. I have seen first hand some of the things that he has described. I wonder if the SEC is equipped to view execution code?? Just food for thought! and all IMHO BWTFDIK
