Thanks you very much John, the link you posted is the confirmation that RDRAM is not dead, dead, dead, (Sources: Bilow).
I don't understand your concern this looks pretty much like initially planned (to me at least), I never expected Rambus to get 100% of the mainstream in 2000.
This roadmap shows more or less:
1999: 5-10%
2000: 40%
2001:70-80%
2001: 100% !!!!!!!!!

In the same time, right from 2000, Rambus will get 100% of the mainstream market of the Playstation2 (starting March 1st) :-).
Not bad for a 150 people company.
Ok, this can certainly not explain the actual stock price but could eventually be used to explain the future stock price.
