Dear INTCfan: Whether or not there is a Y2K problem it is only prudent to take some safety measures. Anyone who doesnt stock up some fresh potable water just as a safety precaution is foolish IMHO. There are many sources out there whom are concerned about the nations Water Companies, that sector, from what I have heard is the most susceptible and putting some water in old gallon milk jugs costs NOTHING. I have 15 jugs just for that purpose. As to food, everyone should have at least a two weeks supply even without a problem, the Government has said to prepare as though a bad storm were coming. Also, those on prescriptions ought to make sure they have at least several week supply on hand IMHO. JDN
