Hi Christine! I'm so happy your husband is able to enjoy the von Otter CD. I was beginning to worry it might be a complete bomb. Your review was delightful. I am quite in agreement that some classical vocalists belong in "freak shows." Actually, there might be more than one song in the middle of the CD that calls for a click on the remote, but, all in all..... I gather from you, your husband's tastes are much more sophisticated than mine -- Kopangen (the lead song) may be a bit simplistic for him but I find it extremely moving. Did you read the lyrics? From your remarks, I think I can make another recommendation that would please you both -- a lot. "Baroque Duet," featuring Kathleen Battle and Wynton Marsalis. Very scrumptious! I'd be just as happy to rev up some Country Joe or Ian and Sylvia, if you're ever in the neighborhood. Mike
