Smaller is better, and any technology that reduces the amount of desk space or pocket space needed is going to do well. I was in Costco today, and I saw a Compaq computer with a 15" flat panel monitor, a MUCH-reduced in size CPU and small speakers for $1799. Only the keyboard looked like it hadn't been "shrunk". I, for one, am tired of bulky equipment taking up half of my spare room space.
