No wonder TRW is so cheap.

They're making money! No one cares about that anymore. You've got to get out there, make like a carnival barker and start hyping.

It appears to be stuck in a trading range. Probably it's been held down due to weakness in its industry groups. But there's a glimmer of hope; it managed to break from the pack(s) a couple months ago:

Their aerospace and automotive businesses will continue to dwarf anything they do in communications ICs, so it's probably not a good play on broadband telecom, especially if they don't do it themselves.

The cantilever thing is interesting; more and more examples of micromachining are cropping up!

AXTI supplies GaAs and InP (starting ~Q2 '98) wafers to TRW. That looks like a simpler way to play InP.
